Awards and Recognition

In under two years, My Wellbeing Space CIC has achieved remarkable milestones, thanks to the support of our funders, partners, and the local community.

Funding Milestones

We have successfully raised over £70,000 in funding, enabling us to support hundreds of women, children, and young people through our programs and services.

Awards and Recognition

  • Community Award: In July 2024, we were honoured at the Sparks Award Ceremony at Oasis Academy School for our outstanding work in the community. This prestigious recognition is a testament to the dedication of our team and the positive impact of our initiatives.

  • Case Study Feature: In October 2024, My Wellbeing Space was featured as a case study in Enfield Voluntary Action's Impact Report 2023-24. This recognition highlights our significant contributions to supporting women and children and underscores our ongoing commitment to serving the community.

  • In October 2024, we were featured by our esteemed funders, Phoenix Way, in their monthly newsletter. This recognition not only celebrated the milestones we’ve achieved but also highlighted the incredible impact our work has had on the community. The spotlight in Phoenix Way's newsletter further underscores the importance of collaboration and the power of partnerships in driving meaningful, lasting impact. We are deeply grateful to Phoenix Way for their belief in our mission and for amplifying our work to a wider audience.

Community Impact

Community Events

We have delivered three successful community events in collaboration with local community groups and stakeholders. These events not only promoted our activities but also allowed us to connect with new members and further strengthen community ties.

Showcase

In the summer of 2024, we launched a series of creative workshops at Enfield Youth and Family Hubs. This initiative was designed to empower young people by providing them with a safe, supportive space to learn, grow, and express themselves creatively. The young people had an amazing opportunity to showcase their work at an event at the Dugdale Arts Centre in October.

Broader Community Impact

The feedback from our participants has confirmed the significant positive impact of our work. Key outcomes include:

  • Improved Mental Health and Wellbeing: Many participants reported feeling a boost in their confidence, happiness, and overall mental health after engaging in our programs.

  • Fostering Connections: Our initiatives provided opportunities for individuals to meet new people, form meaningful relationships, and strengthen their sense of belonging.

  • Skill Development: Participants gained new skills in creative and collaborative activities, which they can continue to build upon in the future.

  • Creating Safe Spaces: By offering welcoming and inclusive environments with friendly and welcoming staff.
