My Wellbeing Space Homework Club

We are excited to announce that, following the success of our pilot programme earlier this year, the My Wellbeing Space (MWS) Homework Club will roll out from 17th September 2025 for children who attend Oasis Academy Hadley.

The Homework Club is open to children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (ages 5–11) and provides tailored support in Maths, Writing, Reading, and Grammar. By working in close partnership with Oasis Academy Hadley, we ensure that the support we provide is fully aligned with the school curriculum, reinforcing classroom learning while helping children to build confidence, develop study skills, and achieve their potential.

Beyond academic progress, the club is designed to support children’s overall growth and wellbeing. It offers a safe, structured, and nurturing space after school where families can feel reassured that their children are not only supported with their studies but are also encouraged to make new friends, strengthen social skills, and grow in confidence. Many children thrive in a group setting, and the club gives them the opportunity to complete homework alongside peers in a positive, encouraging environment.

All staff are DBS-checked and trained to uphold the highest safeguarding standards. With the continued support of Oasis Academy Hadley, we remain deeply committed to giving every child we are fortunate to work with the tools, encouragement, and supportive environment they need to succeed academically and personally.

Homework Club: Creative Workshops

Our creative workshops are a core part of the My Wellbeing Space Homework Club, offering children the opportunity to explore creativity within a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Through a variety of creative activities, children are encouraged to express themselves, build confidence, and develop new skills alongside their academic learning.

This term, pupils took part in stencil-based creative projects, working both individually and in groups. The sessions were supported by our team, young leaders, and work experience students, and were designed to promote wellbeing, teamwork, and a strong sense of achievement. Children were encouraged to take pride in their ideas and celebrate their creativity.

At the end of the term, children had the opportunity to present their creative work to their parents and carers. This celebration highlighted their effort, progress, and creativity, allowing families to see first-hand the positive impact of the programme. It was a meaningful and empowering experience that helped boost confidence and strengthen connections between home, school, and the Homework Club community.
